Section 3: Sorting It All Out

{appendix to the first edition}
This list is of the central words and phrases that were unique to the Poohs at least, and all of Campbell 5th at most. The definitions are my judgements of what they have come to mean this 89-90 school year, and are not necessarily what they started out as meaning (and are certainly not what they may come to mean). It should be kept in mind that almost all of these phrases and words were used lightheartedly, and were certainly never used maliciously.
In section 1: (vi)=intransitive verb; (vt)=transitive verb; items in brackets represent word roots, and examples.
In section 2: (information after the colons are presented in this way= definition/translation; usage; interesting background information. [Note that not all sections may be used for any one phrase].
The following helped me by reviewing one of my original lists, and reminding me of a word or two I forgot: David Overaker, Amy Scott, and Juan Thomas.

appendix to the second edition

This most recent compilation of March 23rd, 1992 was made to provide the many fans of the 1989-90 5th floor, who are not BREV. readers, with access to the rich Campbell Fifth Kultur (culture), in one convenient package. The original edition and its "cousin" were combined with a few more words which I've remembered from that heady period of Fall 1989 to Fall 1990. All the MA words and phrases (except for three words) were not included due to their overall foreignness to the 5th floor. The post-1990 items are entirely from the Poohs at Birchwood, and are few in number overall. Hopefully, this edition provides an accurate remembrance.

Some abbreviations have been spelled out, and the format has been updated (not revised) as the computer has permitted.
