Ross FS Hall, co-President
Dave Grazian
M. Shultis

The Rutgers Review Alumni Association (RRAA) is governed by five officers; if that seems at odds with the above listing, it's probably because a position is temporarily vacant.

Membership

Membership in the Rutgers Review Alumni Association is open to all former staffers of the Rutgers Review.

Persons interested in joining should send an email with their name, years served on the paper, and dates of editorial positions held to paisley@cache.cow.net with a subject line of "Attention RRAA." A short on-line sign-up form is also available. (All applications are subject to verification.)

Membership entitles you to:

All members in good standing can vote in RRAA meetings. Meetings are held annually in New Jersey. Members may vote in person or through a proxy confirmed two weeks in advance.

Active members are eligible for admission to the RRAA Junta which assists the titled officers in running the organization. The RRAA Junta maintains a monitored mailing list that covers weekly operating matters. A second official mailing list, overseen by the webmaster, addresses standards, suggestions, and developments relating to the administration of this website. All correspondence and executive decisions are logged to promote consistency.

Activities

The RRAA develops this archival website and occasionally mulls the production on a web-based publication. Each Spring, near the time of commencement, the association will hold a dinner in New Brunswick, NJ, to welcome new graduates who served on the Rutgers Review.

We were represented in the University Newspaper Alumni Groups Listserv, but it appears to have gone belly up despite everyone's best intentions. They were all dailies, anyway.

Allowing for the busy work schedules of the active members, future plans for this site do include much more new and archival material. We are also aiming to get an on-line magazine up and running at some point, which should add more dynamic content to the site.

Origins

Founded by Mike Cimicata, Dave Grazian, Ross FS Hall, and M. Shultis, Christmastide 1997. First conceived of and proposed by Ross FS Hall in the Autumn of 1997.
